Pale Blue UK Size L
This beautiful ring features a genuine piece of Cornish sea glass, naturally shaped and frosted by decades of tumbling in the Atlantic tides. This piece is a wonderful soft triangle shape with the weathered surface texture that makes sea glass so special (look for tiny crescent shaped marks, the tell-tale sign of genuine sea glass). Many pieces of pale blue glass get their colour from iron impurities during the manufacturing process, but this piece was intentionally dyed blue which means it has a lovely depth and consistency to the colour. Any shade of blue is rare as sea glass as far less was historically made than other colours of glass and pale gems like this are always a special find.
Every piece of sea glass I use is hand-collected by me from the beaches and coves of Cornwall. I select only the best pieces chosen for their colour, texture and character. No two are ever the same meaning your ring is a true one-of-a-kind treasure, made by nature and finished by hand.
The band and setting is handmade from 100% recycled sterling and fine silver, shaped to complement the organic form of the glass and finished with my makers’ mark of three waves. The sea glass in this ring measures 10mm by 9mm.
Your ring will arrive in a recycled gift box, complete with:
A map showing where the sea glass was found
A non-toxic microfibre polishing cloth
Once known as “Mermaids’ Tears,” sea glass was said to be formed from the tears of mermaids mourning sailors lost at sea. Today it’s cherished as a symbol of renewal and transformation — a reminder that beauty can be shaped by time, tide and resilience.
As always, I work only with authentic sea glass — never imitation or artificially tumbled pieces.
All photographs are taken in natural daylight, with no filters. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen and the light, but each piece glows beautifully when worn — a little piece of Cornwall’s coast, caught in silver.
