Cornish Sea Glass Earrings

£79.95

These elegant earrings feature 4 beautiful pieces of Cornish sea glass in soft shades of green and white, each one set in solid sterling silver. The sea glass was hand-collected by me from Cornwall’s beaches and coves, with each gem carefully matched to create a perfectly balanced pair.

Every set comes with a map showing where the glass was found and a chemical-free polishing cloth.

Green sea glass is one of the most classic and recognisable colours, often originating from vintage bottles and jars. Its fresh, oceanic hue pairs beautifully with the luminous white pieces, evoking the rolling Cornish surf and weathered cliffs.

Each gem of sea glass is completely unique, shaped by decades of tumbling in the waves until it becomes smooth and frosted — once known as “Mermaids’ Tears,” said to be shed for lost sailors. Every silver setting is handmade to complement the natural curves and colours of the glass, creating a timeless pair of earrings filled with coastal charm and Cornish history.

Unlike artificial or man-made “sea glass,” genuine sea glass can be identified by tiny crescent-shaped markings across the surface—unique patterns created only by the ocean’s touch. I never use imitation glass, only authentic pieces I personally beach-comb.

All photos are taken in natural daylight with no filters. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and as with all true sea glass, the gem will appear to shift shades in different lighting, often glowing beautifully in direct light.
