This beautiful ring features a genuine piece of Cornish sea glass, naturally shaped and frosted by decades of tumbling in the Atlantic tides. It is a white piece of glass with a subtle hint of sea foam green caused by iron impurities during the manufacturing process. This shows it is certainly an older piece of glass, probably early 1900s, and has been smoothed over the decades into a lovely irregular water droplet shape.
Every piece of sea glass I use is hand-collected by me from the beaches and coves of Cornwall. I select only the best pieces chosen for their colour, texture and character. No two are ever the same meaning your ring is a true one-of-a-kind treasure, made by nature and finished by hand.
The band and setting is handmade from 100% recycled sterling and fine silver, shaped to complement the organic form of the glass with silver beaded detail. The sea glass in this ring measures 12mm by 8mm.
