White Sea Glass Studs

£64.95

White sea glass has a soft, timeless beauty — simple yet full of quiet elegance. Once clear glass from old bottles or tableware, it has spent decades tumbling in the tides until transformed into smooth, frosted gems that capture the shifting light of the Cornish coast. Their neutral tone and gentle translucence make them effortlessly wearable, a subtle touch of ocean magic for any occasion.

Each piece of sea glass I use has been hand-collected from the beaches and coves of Cornwall, chosen for its natural shape and character. No two pieces are ever the same — every curve and surface tells the story of its long journey through sand and sea.

These earrings are handmade in 100% recycled sterling and fine silver, finished with my makers’ mark of three waves on the reverse. They come presented in a recycled gift box, along with:

  • A map showing where the sea glass was found

  • A chemical-free microfibre polishing cloth

Sea glass was once known as “Mermaids’ Tears,” believed to be the tears of mermaids mourning lost sailors. Today, it remains a symbol of transformation and renewal — a reminder that even the ocean’s castaways can become something truly beautiful.

As with all my jewellery, I use only genuine sea glass — never tumbled or imitation pieces. Each gem carries the crescent-shaped markings and frosted finish that only years in the ocean can create.

All photographs are taken in natural daylight, with no filters. Colours may vary slightly by screen, and each gem will shift subtly in tone as the light changes — glowing beautifully when caught by the sun.
